Mobile Push Notifications

Why did I not receive a Vygo mobile app push notification from the Vygo Support team?

  • If you do not exit out of the 'Chat with Vygo' window in your Vygo mobile app and continue to use your mobile, you will not receive a push notification. The push notification is not sent as keeping your 'Chat with Vygo' window open marks the Vygo support message as 'seen', even though you are not physically in the Vygo mobile app. We suggest exiting out of the 'Chat with Vygo' screen and ensuring your Vygo app is on the 'Dashboard' before completely exiting the Vygo mobile app.

  • Our messaging platform waits 10 seconds before sending a push notification to your mobile device. If you have seen the message within 10 seconds, no push notification is sent. Note that delivery speed for push notifications is variable.

  • If you log out of the Vygo mobile app, you will not receive a push notification.

  • If you do not have the Vygo mobile app installed, you will not receive any Vygo support messages via mobile push notification.

Web App Notifications

  • Like the Vygo mobile app, you need to using the Vygo web app to receive direct messages from the Vygo support team in the 'Chat with Vygo' window.

  • If you close the Vygo web app and the Vygo support message is not seen within 10 seconds, our support messaging platform will send the message via email.

Email Notifications

Why did I not receive a Vygo email notification from the Vygo Support team?

  • Our support messaging platform sends an email notification immediately if you have not seen the reply within 10 seconds. This email may take a few minutes to arrive in your associated email address.

  • Vygo's support messaging platform will also group email notifications. Grouping emails ensures that multiple replies are consolidated to one email, sent once there has been no new reply in the last 2 minutes.
