Mentors should never demand or accept money from mentees, and taking a cash payment outside of the Vygo platform is against both our and all our institutions’ Terms of Service.

If your mentor asks for more money on top of what they have charged through the Vygo platform – even if the session was voluntary – refuse and immediately contact the Vygo Technical Support Team using our live chat feature. We also recommend notifying your Program Manager, whose details you can access via your program card by clicking or tapping on the speech bubble icon in the top right of the page.
