If you didn't receive an email notification from Vygo, there are a few different steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Check your email notification settings
We'll only send you the emails you tell us you want! To check what email notification settings you’ve got turned on, log in to your Vygo account. If you’re using our mobile app, click ‘Account’ or, if you’re using our web app, hit the profile picture in the top right corner of the screen and select ‘Account’ from the drop-down menu. From there, click or tap ‘Notifications’ and a pop-up window will appear. Make sure the boxes in the ‘Email’ column are ticked, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘Update Settings’ or ‘Save’.
Search all messages in your email inbox
Sometimes, emails can get lost in the kerfuffle of your inbox. Using the search feature of your email service provider, look for terms like ‘Vygo’, ‘verification’ or ‘session’ or any other words related to the particular email you’re after.
Check your spam and other email filters.
It’s possible your email provider mistakenly sent our messages to your spam or junk folder. To prevent this, remove ‘Vygo Team’ messages from your spam list and add the email address [email protected] to your email address book. This will verify us as a trusted contact and should allow our email correspondence to come through without a problem.
Note that you may have other filters or routing rules in your email account that could have sorted Vygo emails elsewhere, such as into a particular folder or category. Be sure to check those, too!
Check for issues with your email service provider
Depending on your provider, emails can take up to a few hours to be delivered. This is especially true if you have emails from a particular account (such as your official institution email) being redirected to another account (such as your Gmail). If undelivered or delayed emails continue to be an issue, check with your provider to see if there are any configuration issues or problems with their network or your server settings that might be affecting your account.
