This feature is currently in BETA. It is currently only available to select institutions. If you are unsure as to whether you are allowed to offer a Group Session, please contact your Program Manager at your institution to confirm.

Who Can Host a Group Session

To be able to 'Create a Group Session' you must first be an approved mentor on the Vygo platform.

Once you have successfully joined the program, and been approved to deliver Group Sessions on behalf of your institution, you will be able to see the Group Sessions tab in the top right-hand corner.

Steps to 'Creating a Group Session'

STEP 1. - Click 'Group Sessions'.

STEP 2. - Click 'Create a Group Session'.

STEP 3. Provide the details for your Group Session.

When you create a Group Session, you are required to provide a certain amount of information. This includes:

  1. Title

  2. Description

  3. Agenda

  4. Time and Date

  5. Duration

  6. Location – online video will create a Vygo video room

  7. Broadcast Mode (There are two choices: either just the host can broadcast audio and video and screen-share, or all participants can)

STEP 4. Once you have complete the form, press 'Create Group Sessio n'.

STEP 5. Once processed, all students within that Program/Sub-Program will be sent an invitation to 'Attend' or 'Not Attend'.

NOTE: If you need to update or edit the Group Session details including the 'time and date' or 'duration', go into the Group Session Card and click 'Update Group Session'.
