What is The Mentor Academy?
The Mentor Academy is a not-for-profit initiative designed to provide invaluable training to anyone who wants to improve their mentoring and employability skills.
This world-class online training platform empowers every learner with the skills they need to become impactful mentors in both their personal and professional lives.
Why use The Mentor Academy?
The Mentor Academy is currently in phase one of its rollout and has one course available, The Foundations of Mentoring.
This course is focused on effective communication, guiding others and unconscious bias.
The Mentor Academy will host several short courses that take approximately two hours to complete to boost confidence, build resilience and improve communication and conflict resolution skills.
Once you have completed our first online course, ‘The Foundations of Mentoring’, you will acquire a wealth of new knowledge.
In recognition of your course commitment, you will also receive a digital certificate and digital badge that you can add to your online profiles or resume.🏅
How do I Sign up to The Mentor Academy?
- Go to the website - www.thementor.academy.
- Click on the Sign Up Button, then add all the necessary details: your first name, last name, email address and education provider.
- A verification email will be sent to your email address, and in the body of that email, you’ll be given a link.
- Click it to finalise your course registration and set your password, remembering that the email you used to register is your username.
- From now on, if you ever need to log in to your course account, head to The Mentor Academy. website at www.thementor.academy > click Log In, then add your username and password.
