How Do I Change or Cancel a Recurring Session?

You can change or cancel just one session in a series, or every session from that point on. When you save a change or cancel a session that's part of a series, Vygo asks which sessions it should apply to.

Changing one session (mentors)

Go to Sessions and open the session
Open the session's options menu and select Modify session
Make your changes, save, then choose This session only or This and following sessions

Changing the date or time only applies to that one session. To move every session to a new time, change the whole series instead.

Changing the whole series (mentors)

Select the Repeats badge on any session to open the series page
Select Edit series, make your changes and select Save changes

Sessions that have already happened aren't changed. Everyone in the series gets one message about the change.

Cancelling sessions

Open the session's options menu and select Cancel session
Choose This session only to cancel just that week, or This and following sessions to cancel that session and every one after it

To stop the whole series, open the series page and select Cancel series.

Who can cancel:

Private sessions: you and your mentor can both cancel a session or the whole series
Group sessions: only the person running the session can cancel it. If you can't attend, change your answer to Not attending instead

Please note: it's a good idea to message the other person before you cancel, so they know why. If you or your mentor leaves the program, a private series stops automatically.
