What is an Event?
Events provide a way for institutions, mentors, and program teams to engage with multiple participants at the same time.
Whether you're hosting a workshop, information session, group mentoring activity, or community event, Events make it easy to bring people together and create shared experiences within your program.
Events can be delivered either online or in person, depending on the needs of your audience and the type of activity being run.
When creating an Event, organisers have flexibility over who can attend, how registrations are managed, and how the Event is presented to participants. Events can be made available to broad audiences or restricted to specific groups within a program, allowing organisers to tailor participation based on their objectives.
The Events experience has recently been enhanced with a simplified setup process, making it easier to create, manage, and update Events throughout their lifecycle.
Organisers can also categorise Events to help participants discover relevant opportunities and better understand the purpose of each session. Multiple hosts can be assigned to support the delivery of an Event, making collaboration easier for larger programs and initiatives.
To help gather insights before and after an Event, organisers can choose to collect information from participants during registration and after attendance. This can be used to better understand participant needs, measure engagement, and improve future Events.
Once published, eligible participants will be able to view Event details and register to attend. Depending on the Event setup, attendance may be open to a broad audience or limited to specific participants.
Events can be updated at any time, allowing organisers to make changes as plans evolve and ensuring participants always have access to the most up-to-date information.
The Events feature is designed to support scalable engagement across programs, providing a flexible way to deliver group-based experiences while maintaining a simple and intuitive experience for both organisers and attendees.
