How To Prepare For A Session

To get the most out of your mentoring session, we strongly recommend you do some preparation before you even begin.

• Using Vygo’s in-app chat feature, have a conversation with your mentor about your expectations and goals for the session, as well as any projects or assignments you’d like to tackle together.

• Send through related attachments too, such as a criteria sheet, so that your mentor can peruse them beforehand.

• Before your session commences, be it online or in-person, make sure you have all the necessary materials with you, including textbooks, practice tests and class notes.

• Set up your workspace five or ten minutes before the session is due to start and ensure your devices are charged or that you have all the material you need.
