What are Session Reviews?

Session reviews help maintain a trusted and supportive mentoring environment by allowing participants to share feedback about their mentoring experiences.

At the conclusion of a mentoring session, mentors and mentees may be invited to provide a rating and review based on their experience. Submitting a review is optional and participation requirements may vary between programs.

Reviews for Mentors

Following a completed session, mentees may choose to rate their mentor out of five stars and provide a written review.

Reviews should be honest, respectful, and relevant to the mentoring experience. Constructive feedback helps other participants understand the value of a mentor's support and contributes to the quality of the mentoring community.

Whether mentor reviews are displayed publicly is determined by the relevant institution or program administrator. Some programs may choose to display reviews on mentor profiles, while others may collect reviews for internal program evaluation purposes only.

Feedback About Mentees

Mentors may also choose to provide feedback following a mentoring session.

Unlike mentor reviews, feedback provided about mentees is not displayed publicly and does not appear on a mentee's profile.

This information is only available to authorised program administrators and is used to support program management, participant engagement, and overall program quality.

Review Moderation

To help maintain a safe and constructive platform, Vygo's Technical Support Team reviews submitted feedback and may investigate reports of inappropriate content.

Reviews and comments should remain respectful, informative, and relevant to the mentoring experience.

If there are concerns regarding a review or comment, Vygo may contact the person who submitted it for clarification.
