How do I Receive a Five-Star Rating?

To make sure both you and the other party get the most out of your mentoring session – increasing your likelihood of getting a five-star rating – we recommend you use the following as a to-do list:

• Communicate your expectations and needs before the session.

• Make sure goals are set! Before you even meet, use the Vygo in-app chat to talk to the other party about what the desired outcomes of the session are.

• During the session, mentors should ask open-ended questions to ensure their mentees are following along and keeping up. Remember that open-ended questions require more than just a yes or no answer.

• Don’t rush. Take your time going over all the materials, and make sure you are both on the same page when it comes to understanding.
